cosecθ=2x
Squaring both sides:
cosec2θ=4x2
x2=14cosec2 θ (1)

ycotθ=2
Squaring both sides:
y2cot2θ=4
1y2=14cot2θ (2)
Subtract (2) from (1):
4(x21y2)=4[14cosec2θ14cot2θ]
=4×14[cosec2θcot2θ]
=1.1
=1
Hence, the answer is 1.
