Solution

Dear Student,
According to Stefan's law, the rate of energy radiation emitted by a black body is directly proportional to T4 where T is the temperature of the black body. Thus, when temperature of a black body becomes twice, it rate of emission of radiation increases by 24 times, i.e., 16 times.
Ans (D)
