Given, the angle $(2 a - 10)^{\circ}$ is 30 degree more than a right angle.
$∴ (2 a - 10)^{\circ} = 30^{\circ} + 90^{\circ}$

$\Rightarrow (2 a - 10)^{\circ} = 120^{\circ}$

$\Rightarrow 2 a = 110^{\circ}$
$\Rightarrow a = 55^{\circ}$
