(tanα+cotα)2

=tanα+cotα+2(tanαcotα)

=2+2=4 ...(given tanα+cotα=2)

Taking root on both the sides, we get

tanα+cotα=±2

But 0<α<π2 and tanα+cotα>0 (square root)

Therefore, tanα+cotα=2

Hence, the answer is C.
