If θ be the acute angle between the lines with slopes m1andm2 then tanθ=m1m21+m1m2
Let θ=π4 and m1=12
tanπ4=∣ ∣ ∣12m21+12m2∣ ∣ ∣
1=12m22+m212m22+m2=+1or1
Now 12m22+m2=1m2=13and12m22+m2=1m2=3
The slope of the other line is either -1/3 or 3
