Open in App
Solution

Let the slope be m1 and m2

and θ=π4

tanθ=|m1m21m1m2|

tanπ4=1=|12m21+12m2|

12m21+12m2=±1

12m21+12m2=1 or 12m21+12m2=1

m2+m22=12 or 12m2=1m22

m2=13,3
