According to the question angle of minimum deviation δm=300

Given that the prism is equilateral

So the angle of prism A=600

We know the refractive index is given as

μ=sinA+δ2sinA2

Putting all the values

μ=sin60+302sinA2

After solving we get

Hence the refractive index is μ=2
