Solution

Lengths of the parallel sides of the trapezium are 30 cm and 23 cm.
Area of the trapezium is 265 sq cm.
Area of a trapezium = 12 (Sum of lengths of parallel sides)×(Height)
265 sq cm= 12 × ( 30 cm +23 cm) × (Height)

or Height = 265×253 cm
∴ Height = 10 cm
