Given, h is the height of the triangle.
According to the statement
base = 3×height = 3×h
As we know,
Area of triangle = 12×height ×base ⇒12×h×3h = 294 ⇒3h2=588 ⇒h2=196 ⇒h=±14
Since height cannot be negative ∴h=14cm
