If the area of a triangle is 294 cm2 and its base (b) is 3 times that of height (h), then find the value of h and b.

Given,
h is the height of the triangle.
According to the statement
base = 3×height = 3×h
As we know,
Area of triangle = 12×height ×base
12×h×3h = 294
3h2=588
h2=196
h=±14
Since height cannot be negative
h=14 cm
