Let the side of the equilateral triangle $=a$ cm.

Hence, its area $=\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}{a}^2=36\sqrt{3}$

$\Rightarrow a^2=36\times 4$

$\Rightarrow a^2=144$

$=>a=12$ cm
Perimeter of the triangle $=3a=3\times 12=36$ cm
