Solution

Given that the mean of first n natural numbers = (n+10)/4.

We know that mean of n natural numbers = (n + 1)/2.

=> (n + 1)/ 2 = (n+10)/4

=> 2(n + 1) = n+10

=> 2n+2 = n+10

=> 2n-n = 10-2

=> n = 8
