The correct option is Ab^i+4b^j ∵ Block A is inside B and accelaration of B in X-direction is b. ∴ acceleration of A in x - direction is also b. →ax=b^i
Let's assume the velocity of block B in x - direction in vb. Then the velocity of block A in y - direction is 4vb as shown in figure.
∴ acceleration of block A in y - direction is also 4 times the acceleration of block B in x - direction. ∴→ay=4b^j ∴ Net accelration of block A, →a=→ax+→ay=b^i+4b^j
