Let A(1,1),B(7,3),C(7,21)
Area of quadrilateral ABCD = Area of triangle ABC +Area of triangle ACD
Area of triangle ABC =12[x1(y2y2)+x2(y3y1)+x3(y1y2)]
=12[1(32)+7(21)+12(1+3)]
=25sq.units
Area of triangle ADC =12[1(2.21)+12(211)+7(12)]
=107sq.units
Area of quadrilateral ABCD = 25+107 = 132 sq units.
