Open in App
Solution

Find the abscissa for the given coordinates

Within the coordinate system (x,y)

x stands for abscissa

y stands for ordinate

Given points are P-2,3 and Q-3,5

Abscissa of P=-2

Abscissa of Q=-3

abscissa of P- abscissa Q

=-2-(-3)=-2+3=1
