Solution

The correct option is D ₹ 548

Cost of 250 g rice = ₹ 33

quarter of a kg = 250 g

4 quarters makes a whole

Cost of quarters of a kg rice
= ₹ 33

Cost of one kg rice
= ₹ 33 × 4
= ₹ 132

Cost of 500 g wheat = ₹ 19

Half of a kg = 500 g

2 halves makes a whole

Cost of half kg wheat = ₹ 19

Cost of one kg wheat
= ₹ 19 × 2
= ₹ 38

Cost of 3 kg rice
= ₹ 132 × 3
= ₹ 396

Cost of 4 kg wheat
= ₹ 38 × 4
= ₹ 152

Total cost = ₹ 396 + ₹ 152
= ₹ 548
