Solution

The correct option is A 1.48 kg/m3
Given:
d=1.35 kg/m3
T=30+273=303 K
P=768 torr
R=62.364 L torr K1 mol1

We know that, Ideal gas equation is,
PV=nRT

n=WM
where, W and M are the mass and molar mass respectively.

Substituting n=WM in the ideal gas equation we get,

PV=WMRT

PM=WVRT

Density, d=WV (massvolume)

Substituting WV=d we get,

PM=dRT

M=dRTP

Substituting values,
M=1.35 kg/L × 62.364 L torr K1 mol1 × 303 K768 torr

M=33.216 kg/mol

At STP,
P=1 atm
R=0.082057 L atm mol1 K1
T=273 K
M=33.216 kg/mol

Density, d=PMRT

d=1 × 33.2160.082057 × 273

d=1.4827 kg/m3
