Let r₁ and r₂ be the radii of the inner and outer circular rings, respectively.

Given: r₂− r₁ = 14 cm .....(1)

∴ Difference between their outer and inner circumferences

$= 2 π r_{2} - 2 π r_{1} = 2 π (r_{2} - r_{1}) = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 14 [Using (1)] = 88 cm$

If the difference between outer and inner radii of a circular ring is 14 cm, then the difference between outer and inner circumferences, is _88 cm_.
