Length of major axis,a=6 and length of minor axis,b=2.

Any point on the ellipse will be of form P(acosθ,bsinθ).

Center of given ellipse is,C(0,0).

Distance of point P from center is 2(Given).

CP=2

But,CP=(acosθ0)2+(bsinθ0)2

2=((acosθ0)2+(bsinθ0)2)

4=a2(cosθ)2+b2(sinθ)2

4=6cos2θ+2sin2θ

4=2+4cos2θ

cosθ=12

θ=π4
