$P (x, y) A (6, 2) B (- 2, 6)$
$∵ P A = P B$
$∵ P A^{2} = P B^{2}$
$(x + 6)^{2} + (y - 2)^{2} = (x + 2)^{2} + (y - d)^{2}$
$x^{2} - 12 x + 36 + y^{2} - 4 y + 4 = x^{2} + 4 x + 4 + y^{2} - 12 y + 36$
$- 12 x - 4 y = 4 x - 12 y$
$12 y - 4 y = 4 x + 12 x$
$8 y = 16 x$
