$S_{n} = (4 + 6 n)$ ............ (1)
$S_{n} = u + \frac{a}{2} (2 n - 1) = (u - \frac{a}{2}) + a n$ ............ (2)
Comparing (1) and (2)
$u - \frac{a}{2} = 4$
and $a n = 6 n$
$\Rightarrow a = 6 m s^{- 1}$
and $u - \frac{6}{2} = 4 \Rightarrow u = 7 m s^{- 1}$
