The correct option is Bx=5 Given equation of ellipse is x236+y216=1
It is in the form of x2a2+y2b2=1
Where a=6 and b=4
Clearly a>b
So, the major axis is along x−axis , while the minor axis is along the y−axis.
Then double ordinate is a chord perpendicular to the major axis.
i.e, x=α
