The correct option is D Increase at some places and remain the same at some other places As the earth is rotating about its axis so there is centripetal acceleration on the objects on the earth surface outwards perpendicular to the axis at that point. So due to this the apparent value of g which have both the gravity and centripetal will decrease. (The value of apparent g will decrease as the point of object moves farther away from the axis.
