The correct option is C 40
As we know, the sum of the exterior angle of a polygon is $360^{\circ}$ , the sum of the exterior angles of the pentagon is also $360^{\circ}$

$\Rightarrow$ $k^{\circ} +$ $k^{\circ} +$ $2 k^{\circ} +$ $2 k^{\circ} +$ $3 k^{\circ} = 360^{\circ}$

$\Rightarrow$ $9 k^{\circ} = 360^{\circ}$

$\Rightarrow$ $k = 40$

Hence, the required value of k is 40.
