Open in App
Solution

f:RR
f(x)=x2+2
g:RR
g(x)=xx1
fog(x)=f(g(x))
=f(xx1)
=(xx1)2+2
=x2x22x+1+2
=x2+2(x22x+1)x22x+1
=x2+2x24x+2x22x+1
=3x24x+2x22x+1
fog(2)=3×224×2+2222×2+1
=3×48+244+1
=1261
=6
gof(x)=g(f(x))
=g(x2+2)
=x2+2x2+21
=x2+2x2+1
gof(3)=(3)2+2(3)2+1
=9+29+1
=1110
