Solution

The correct option is B 2f(x)
Given:
f(x)=log(1+x1x)

Substitute x as 2x1+x2, in the above function, we get

f(2x1+x2)=log⎜ ⎜ ⎜1+2x1+x212x1+x2⎟ ⎟ ⎟

f(2x1+x2)=log(x2+2x+1x22x+1)

f(2x1+x2)=log((x+1)2(x1)2)

f(2x1+x2)=log(x+1x1)2

Using logxm=mlogx, we get

f(2x1+x2)=2log(x+1x1)=2f(x)

Hence, option B.
