The correct option is B 384 cubic centimetres
Note first that the Volume of a square pyramid = 13×Base area×Height
Given that the height and the slant height of a square pyramid are 8 cm and 10 cm respectively.
We haveHalf the base edge=(Slant height of the pyramid)2(Height of the square pyramid)2=100282=10064=36=6 cm
Base edge=12 cm and the base area=144 cm2
Thus, the required volume = 13×144×8=384 cubic centimetres
