Knowing that the triangle is equilateral makes everything easier: the heights are also medians.
Let the sides of triangle be a and h be the median
the triangle can be divided into two congruent right triangles and according to pythagorams theoram a2=h2+(a2)2 ,so (34)a2=h2
i.e a2=(43)h2
thus we get that side is given by a=23h3=233×9=63d
now the area
A=a×h2=23h3h2=33h2=3381=273
