Let radius of the base of cylinder be r1 and let its height be h1.
Volume of original cylinder (V1)=πr2h ...(1)

Now, new radius=2r and new height=4h
New volume (V2)=π(2r)2×4h
V2=16πr2h ....(2)

V2=16V1

So, option A is correct.
