The correct option is A increases by 2%

Kintic energy = 1/2 mv2

And linear momentum is

P = mv

Put , mv =P

In kinetic energy equation.

Kinetic energy =1/2 Pv

Because V2 =v*v

That prove kinetic energy is equal to 1/2 v muliply by linear momentum.

But this question momentum is incresed 4 times.

That put in P =4

Kinetic energy = 1/2(4)v

Therefore,

Kinetic energy = 2v
