Let the radius of bigger circle be r1 and

radius of smaller circles be r2

So, r1=14 cm and r2=3.5 cm
Area of shaded portion = area of the bigger circle area of smaller circles

=πr214πr22
=π(1424×3.52)=π(19649)=227×147=462 cm2
