The correct option is B 7.96 cm
Lateral surface area of cylinder is A=2πrh

Here, the curved surface area is A=500 cm2 the height is h=10 cm.

Thus,

A=2πrh500=2×3.14×r×10500=62.8rr=50062.8=7.96

Hence, radius of the cylinder is 7.96 cm.
