We have equation of hyperbola
x22y2=4
Equation of tangent to above hyperbola at point (x1,y1) is
xx12yy1=4 ...(i)
Given, equation of tangent
2x+6y=2
4x+26y=4 ...(ii)
Comparting eq(i) and (ii) we get
x1=4
And, 2y1=26y1=6
so, the point of contact is (4,6).
