Given ellipse is x23+y24=1
Let the middle point of chord be (h,k)
Then equation of chord is T=S1
xh3+yk4=h23+k24
As chord passes through (2,0),
2h3=h23+k24
(h1)21+k24/3=1
Hence, equation of the ellipse A is
(x1)21+y24/3=1
Here, a=1,b=23,b>a
Length of latus rectum =2a2b=2×12/3=3
