Let the production cost of the geyser be Rs $x$ .
Manufacturers gain $= 6 %$
Therefore , S.P of the manufacturer $= 106 %$ of Rs $x =$ Rs. $\frac{x \times 106}{100} = \frac{53 x}{50}$
Wholesale dealer's gain $= 8 %$
S.P of the dealer $= 108 %$ of Rs. $\frac{53 x}{50} = \frac{53 x}{50} \times \frac{108}{100}$
Retailer's gain $= 10 %$
S.P of the retailer $= 110 %$ of Rs. $\frac{53 x}{50} \times \frac{27}{25}$
$= \frac{53 x}{50} \times \frac{27}{25} \times \frac{110}{100}$
$= \frac{53 x}{50} \times \frac{27}{25} \times \frac{11}{10} = 15741$
$\Rightarrow x = 15741 \times \frac{10}{11} \times \frac{25}{27} \times \frac{50}{53}$
$\Rightarrow x =$ Rs. $12500$
Hence, the cost of the production of the geyser $=$ Rs $12500$
