Find the value of $a + b$
Mean $= \frac{s u m o f a l l o b s e r v a t i o n s}{t o t a l n u m b e r o f o b s e r v a t i o n s}$
$∴ 5 = \frac{2 + 4 + 6 + 8 + a + b}{6}$
$\Rightarrow 30 = 20 + a + b$
$\Rightarrow a + b = 10$
Hence, the value of $a + b$ is $10$
