The correct option is B $10$
Mean $= \frac{S u m o f t h e t e r m s}{T o t a l n u m b e r o f t e r m s}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{2 + 4 + 6 + 8 + x + y}{6} = 5$

$\frac{20 + x + y}{6} = 5$

$20 + x + y = 5 (6)$

$x + y = 30 - 20 = 10$
