Solution

The correct option is B 115
Let, ten consecutive odd number be

2x+1,2x+3,......,2x+19

Hence, (2x+1)+(2x+3)+.....+(2x+19) =10×120 ...... (sum of observations=Mean × No. of observation)

20x+100=1200

x=110020=55

Mean of first five odd numbers

=(2x+1)+(2x+3)+....+(2x+9)5

=(x×10)+(1+3+5+7+9)5

=(10×55)+255=5755=115

Option (2).
