If the megaspore mother cell in a flower forms megaspores without undergoing meiosis and if one of the megaspores develops into an embryo sac, the egg cell and central cell formed, respectively, would be
Megaspore mother cell (MMC) which divides by meiosis to form a row of four haploid megaspores. Among these four, three of them degenerate & one megaspore from the chalazal end remains functional which later goes through three successive mitotic divisions to form 8-nucleate embryo sac.
MMC undergoes meiosis which makes the haploid megaspores, But if the meiosis does not occur, the developed megaspores will remain diploid (2n), and eventually nuclei would also be diploid. These megaspores then undergo mitotic divisions to form diploid egg cells and synergids, as well as tetraploid central cell.
