If a number is evenly divisible by both 3 and 4 that means it has 3 and 4 as a factor. Hence, 12 will also be a factor of given number. Therefore the number will be also evenly divisible by 12.

Example: 456 is evenly divisible by 4 because its last two digits "56" is evenly divisible by 4 and the number is also evenly divisible by 3 because the sum of digits $(4 + 5 + 6 = 15)$ is a multiple of 3.

Now, As 456 is evenly divisible by both 4 and 3, according to divisibility rule of 12, 456 is evenly divisible by 12.
