Number of observations = 6Median ( in the case of even number of observations ) = (n2)th term + (n2 + 1)th term2Given : Median = 9So, 9 = (62)th term + (62 + 1)th term29 = 3rd term + 4th term29 =x + x + 229 = 2x + 229 = 2(x+1)29 =x +1x = 9 - 1x = 83x + 1 = 3(8) + 1 = 24 + 1 = 25
