Solution

The correct option is A

O

Since P is a even multiple of 11, the possibilities are 22,44,66,88. Out of which 22, 66 and 88 are not possible because P+J=76 and the maximum difference between first & last number can be 16 (given that the numbers are 8 consecutive 2 digit numbers)
Thus P=44.
L+O=74 and O can only be 30 or 40( reason- max. difference between the first & last number = 14 )
O cannot be 30, as L44 because P is already 44
Thus O=40, L=34, P=44 and J= 32
We can now see that the range of the numbers is between 30 and 44 or 32 and 46
K needs to end with 0, thus K=30 and the range of numbers is 30-44
Q is an even multiple of 7= 42
Also N2 is odd => N= 38. Thus, M= 36.

option (a) the third number in descending order is O=40
