The correct option is C x = 3 , y = 2
Since the ordered pairs are equal :
y - 1 = x - 2 and x + 2 = 2y + 1
x - y = 1 and -x + 2y = 1
Solving these 2 equations together we get :
y = 2
Putting the value of y in equation (1) we get :
x - 2 = 1 x = 3
