We know that,

$P (y) = Q (y) . g (y) + R (y)$

$y^{3} - {5 y}^{2} + 7 y + m = (y + 2) . g (y) + 50$

Put $y = - 2$ , we get

$⟹ - 8 - 20 - 14 + m = 0 + 50$

Hence, $m = 92$
