If the power and base both different
$\stackrel{b}{a}\times \stackrel{d}{c}$ $\Rightarrow$ you cannot apply only law here.
you have to directly multiply
eg:- $\stackrel{2}{3}\times \stackrel{7}{1}=(2\times 2\times 2)\times \left(7\right)=8\times 7=56$
