$2\times 1=2,1\times 4=4,100\times 1=100$ .Here the products are not $1$.

$1\times 1=1$ Here the product is $1$.$\therefore$ if both numbers are $1$,their product will be $1$

Thus, product is $1$ if both numbers are $1$

$\therefore 1\times 1=1$ is the only possible equation.
