Thus, if one number is zero then its product is $0$

$2\times 1=2,2\times 2=4,3\times 4=12$ .Here the products are not zero.

$0\times 0=0$ Here the product is zero.$\therefore$ if both numbers are zero,their product will also be $0$

Thus, product is $0$ if one or both numbers are $0$
