Solution

The correct option is A 3000

We have,

Selling price = S.P. =Rs.4500

Loss Price = L.P. =Rs.2500

Let the Cost Price C.P.=Rs.x

According to given question,

S.P.C.P.=3(C.P.L.P.)

4500x=3(x2500)

4500x=3x7500

4500+7500=3x+x

12000=4x

x=3000

Then, the cost price is Rs.3000

Hence, this is the answer.
