$Let the length of the rectangular plot be x and its perimeter be 3 x . As, the breadth of the rectangular plot = (\frac{Perimeter}{2}) - Length = \frac{3 x}{2} - x = \frac{3 x - 2 x}{2} = \frac{x}{2} Now, the ratio between the length and breadth of the plot = \frac{Length}{Breadth} = \frac{x}{(\frac{x}{2})} = \frac{2 x}{x} = \frac{2}{1} = 2 : 1$

Hence, the ratio between the length and breadth of the rectangular plot is 2 : 1.
