If the ratio between two complementary angles 2:3, then find the angles.

It is given that two complementary angles are in the ratio 2:3.


Consider 2x and 3x as the angles.


We know that, if two angles are complementary, then their sum is 90o.

Then, 2x+3x=900

5x=900

x=905=180.


Here, the angles will be 2x=2×180=36o

and 3x=3×18o=540.
